Colour trend forecast 2022
Posted on 22 November 2021
We’re looking ahead to next year with our colour forecast for 2022. The past couple of years have posed a challenge to the fashion industry, with fashion shows moving to online streaming platforms, and comfortable leisure wear taking priority over haute couture. However, the industry has emerged victorious, with new perspectives and trends to reignite our passion for fashion! So, without further ado, here's our look ahead!
Pink (both pastel shades and brighter tones) were spotted on the catwalks last summer and are now undoubtedly making a comeback for Spring/Summer 2022. If you've been shying away from pink for fear of its feminine connotations, it's time to drop your misconceptions and embrace the trend!
After an explosive colour revival last summer, we're returning back to basics with a focus on classic tailoring and a single color: black. If you think black shirts are exclusively for evenings - think again! The sleek and sophisticated style is as versatile as it is suave.
Moving into 2022, designers are also taking inspiration from nature with a display of pastel colors such as cameo green and camel brown. Soothing, subtle tones of green, brown and orange induce a calming feel and a contemporary look.
