A versatile all-rounder, the Button Down shirt is our take on the classic American Polo shirt combined with the Stiff Collar's trademark British tailoring.
Original sported in 19th Century Assam by Polo players, the 'button down’ collar gained popularity due to having buttons holding the collar in place, preventing it from flapping around whilst playing the game. Today the style remains popular across the globe.
A little shorter than our regular shirts, the Button Down can be worn tucked in or out, still with the same excellent tailoring, smooth fit and pure cotton fabrics - as standard.
